One of the recent trends we’ve been noticing this year that I think we’ll carry over until next is bridesmaids in complementing blush and neutral color tones. We’ve even seen white bridesmaid dresses and although before that would have been faux paus, we are loving how the end result! The whole party looks so soft and ethereal when using soft hues. We love it and we’ve picked out our favorite shots that we’ve found on the web!

DIY Glitter Chevron Vases
We’ve seen a couple do it yourself projects to spruce plain old vases up so we decided to glitter up some of our own for a shower this past weekend! It’s super easy to glitter the bottom half but a little more time consuming to tape off a chevron design. Either way, both are easy and only take a small number of materials.
What you need:
- electrical tape (it’s easier to take off but you can use any other type)
- Mod Podge
- a brush (to spread the Mod Podge)
- spray glue enamel
- Glitter!
Because the glitter is still a bit lose, we used a glue spray enamel from Home Depot to seal it up so the glitter won’t come off as easily. Ta-da! Here’s the end result!
We ended up trying it on everything and it really dresses up the vases. We arranged these pink and white florals with the gold and we loved how it turned out! We loved how it turned out and would definitely do it again!
Happy Tuesday!
Happy Friday!
Hello lovelies! I came across this wedding and just had to share this beautiful image photographed in San Francisco, CA. It has me daydreaming; oh and that that wedding dress is drop dead gorgeous. Don’t you agree?
Happiest of Thanksgivings!
Real Wedding :: Joanna + Kenneth
We had the privilege of working with Joanna and Kenneth this October who got married at the Westin Costa Mesa. They were such a sweet couple to work with! Their first look was actually a blind first look so they didn’t see each other but they held hands and hugged blindfolded. It was exciting just for us to see them. I can only imagine how they felt!
Joanna looked gorgeous!
The pavilion at the Westin Costa Mesa is pretty much a blank slate so with purple up lighting the venue looked amazing!
I love that they personalized a couple details like this thumbprint tree made by the groom and the homemade jam favors made by both the bride and groom.
Congrats again Joanna and Kenneth!
Reem Acra Ready to Wear Resort 2013 Gowns
I have always loved Reem Acra wedding gowns but when I saw this collection I was absolutely in love! These two in particular tugged at my heart strings. The lace, the color…perfection!
They’re both gorgeous! Something about the one to right makes me want to jump in it and say “I do” again. But wait! Here are some more we love from this collection.
I would totally change into this one…or just about go anywhere with it. Love the gold! What say you? Not enough gold?
L.O.V.E. every single one of these. Now I know that Reem Acra might be on the pricier side for a bridesmaid, but let’s just take a look.
Both on the right would be gorgeous! Want to see the rest? Hope on over to their site here. I’m sure this isn’t the only collection you’ll be staring at.
