This past weekend we had a gorgeous wedding at La Venta Inn in Palos Verdes. M + S tied the knot in a beautiful celebration. After months of planning, we were seriously awaiting this very special day. Here are a couple teasers.

Wendy from Just Wenderful is amazingly talented, professional, and understanding throughout the entire wedding planning process! From the day my now husband and I met her we knew that we had to hire her. She was always organized, listened to our every need and ensured that we stayed within our budget. She gave us amazing vendor referrals and I have no complaints about who we hired. Most of all, Wendy’s creativity and vision was much more than anyone could ask for! Though I was indecisive about what colors/theme (and other things too–sorry Wendy!) to have for our wedding, she managed to stay true to our original vision and our wedding was beautiful, organized and stress free for myself, my husband, and the rest of our family!
The day of the wedding, her team: Rocio, Andrea and Jesse were fabulous! They teamed up with Wendy to make sure that everything ran smoothly and that we were on schedule for the days events. They handled difficult situations like the electricity going out very well and remained calm and collected at all times. They’re also a fun bunch and got along well with my family. Lastly, Wendy was able to do what many people can’t do: design and organize a modern Mexican wedding with a splash of tradition and a flare of fun and romance!

Also, I just found this piece of advise that I completely agree with!
I personally love the new trend that was started perhaps 2 years ago where brides started having their bridesmaids dress in different dresses, same color or even different dresses, same hue of a certain color. One of our weddings in June will have bridesmaids in different long, chiffon dresses but within the same cobalt blue color and I just love it! I can’t wait to see the ladies!

This one image has been going around the blogosphere like crazy because it’s just plain beautiful!
We’ve posted about some other flower favorites like the peony, the ranunculus, and the dahlia but now it’s time to give the anemone some love! I think I’m stuck between the peonies and anemone’s for my favorite ever spot. Anemones are pretty, especially the white ones!

This Last Friday I was able to meet Courtney Dial of Pizzazzerie and she is the sweetest!
She signed my copy of her book Push-Up Pops and let me tell you, there are some recipes I’m sure Rocio and I will be trying out!
