Engagement Session :: Cecilia + Jesse Part II

This is part of Ceci and Jesse’s engagement session.  They are getting married in July and we’re so excited for this day for so many reasons!  Again, Rita of Clifton Photography is the talent behind these!

Such a sweet perfect shot!  Le swoon!

You can see part one of their engagement session here.  The opted for a more casual look this time and I think this suits them best.  I always try to tell my couples to be as natural as they can.  It captures more of the sweetness!

A little less than two months to go for these love birds!  Can’t wait!

Happy Monday everyone!

Real Wedding :: Terrie + Ksatria

I got so excited when I saw a teaser of this cute Orange County Courthouse wedding shot by Mimi Nguyen Photography that I had to have it here. Mimi is super sweet!  I cant believe it’s almost been 3 years since I first met her at the Making Things Happen seminar.

Love this all white bouquet!

Love the simplicity of it!  The fact that they’re both so stylish and cute is just perfect.  I’m sure this is so ‘them’.

Such a sweet couple!

I saved this last one because it’s my favorite!

Love!  Thanks to Mimi for sharing this with me and congrats to Terrie and Ksatria!

A Little Shout Out!

Remember this shot from one of our shoots last year?

Shot by Smita Photography for a Marisol Aparicio veil shoot.

Rocio recently finished her internship and has just become our assistant.  Just in time to celebrate her graduation too.  I felt really honored to be invited and she looked gorgeous!

So proud of you!  Cheers to all the 2012 graduates!

Real Wedding :: Joy + Marc

This wedding was on a perfect, sunny day in April at the Hyatt Regency in Huntington Beach and was shot by 75bMedia Marc and Joy had been dating long distance and I know right after the wedding Joy would be finally relocate to Arizona.  Perfect start to a happy life together!

Love this shot!  SO gorgeous!

After the ceremony they went right across the hotel to the beach.  Although there were lots of people, these shots are pretty great!

The fun shot!

Congrats again Marc and Joy!

Real Wedding ::Lauren + Michael

There are so many weddings featured in the blogosphere but there are only a couple that we just completely fall head over heels for.  This wedding takes place in Lake City, Utah and was photographed by Nicole Hill.  We found it via Martha Stewart and just love the details, color…what’s not to love?  Just wait and see!

The stationery is divine!

These next pictures are amazing.  The color scheme and flowers are just breath taking!

For more pictures and details, check the rest of the wedding here.  Beautiful right?  Happy Wedding Wednesday!

Planning Tips :: More Signature Drinks!

When planning out your special day, you want to make sure your guests are going to enjoy your event.  After you’ve planned for so long and you’ve spent so much money right?  One of the tips I give my couples is that you don’t have to break your piggy bank with an all-night open bar.  I always suggest that if you have to have hard liquor, having signature drinks can be money-saving and add a nice, personal component to your decor.  Choose a his and hers favorite drink.  Extra points if they match your wedding color scheme!  Here are a couple pretty ideas I’ve found and absolutely love.

Come back next week to check out our all time favorite signature drink recipes!

Red, White, & Blue Wedding Inspiration!

Happy 4th of July everyone!
Ever thought about having a wedding on the 4th of July?
I was looking for some inspiration to make some patriotic baked goodies and instead I found some inspiration for a red, white, and blue inspired wedding. You’ll just fall in love with all the ideas!
Absolutely adore the image below, love is definitely in the the air!
Such a cute idea to have your bridesmaids in red and blue dresses.
Red, white, and blue invitations go perfect with the wedding theme. So cute, right?

Love all the yummy desserts! Pies, themed cookies, and parfaits not only are perfect with the red, white, and blue colors but your guest will enjoy them. I know I would, they all look delish!
Finally, what better way to end a 4th of July wedding than with the some lovely sparklers.
Such a beautiful image of the bride & groom. Sparklers are definitely a great fit during the send off of the newlyweds and a great fit for the theme.
Aren’t you inspired now to have a red, white, and blue wedding for yourself? I know I am!
Have a safe 4th of July everyone!
