Astilbe Love

Once in a while I am enamored with a new, certain type of bloom.  My classic favorites will always be anemones and ranunculus but I also have billy ball and dahlia love. Check out the posts for more inspiration.  For today, let’s drool over these.

They come in a pretty dreamy white, lavender, purples, and pinks.  I love them mixed in with other flowers…

…or just by themselves.

Isn’t it perfect?  I just love the flowy, softness of it with so much texture.  You can use them anywhere too.  As aisle markers…
In centerpieces…
…and more bouquets!
Gorgeous right?  Can’t wait to have a wedding with these beauties around!

This Week’s Wedding Planner IG Updates

We have some pretty Instagram updates to share from this week!  We apologize it’s been pretty quiet here since wedding season has started full force!  First, we had a cake tasting with our November couple.

I have to say this is has to be one of my favorite cake tastings ever.  A deconstructed cake tasting and see the pretty pinks to the far left?  Best tasting strawberry champagne ever!  Then, we had a shoot with the talented Mimmo of Mimmo and Co. from Canada at the prettiest desert of all, Joshua Tree.  I had gone to the flower market to purchase fleurs to make a bouquet and this time is probably my favorite ever to spend in the flower market!

Gorgeous right?  I can’t wait to share of these bridal session.  Here’s a sneak which does not do its justice!

Nothing compared to what Mimmo captured of course!  Finally we finished with a delicious tasting from Summit Catering at the Park Plaza.  Amazing food and beautiful venue!  Too bad I Instagram all the time and my phone had died by then.  Oh well, a very happy Friday to all you lovelies!

xoxo,

All White Bridal Bouquets

Being in this industry it comes with our turf to love all things flowers.  Whether it’s the centerpieces or the bouquets, flowers really are a big part of your wedding day.  I know I’ve heard the, “Well they’re just flowers and they’re just going to die anyway.” BUT truth is, the flowers in my opinion should be a priority.

I have a thing for blush recently and colorful bouquets always add a pop but the all white bridal bouquets will never go out of style.  So classic and timeless!

If anyone finds the source please do share.  I am in love with this one!  We found it on Pinterest and fell in love with that handle!  The dahlias are gorgeous too.  Just perfect!  Although I do love white bouquets, I especially when they have different textures or maybe some bling like this next one.

One of our very own favorites.
