Tuesday Shoesday + Mid-August Instagram Wedding Updates

I am dying to know if anyone has seen these before because I am IN LOVE!  I can’t for the life of me find who makes them!  If you do know, please let us know!

They’re gorgeous!  You don’t have to be getting married for these right?  I want them!

We have a couple 2012 weddings that we are fully planning and designing that we are head over heels about!  This past week we visited one of our sites that had a ceremony area that I couldn’t pass by.  Our bride wasn’t sure of having it in that location but it’s just truly perfect!

It’s a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere and it has the most beautiful, natural backdrops.  A couple weeks ago we were laboring over these poms for a wedding that we are just dying to see!

Actually, their engagement should be coming up soon!  We just got to sneak peek from the photographer’s site and we are in LOVE!

Happy Wedding Wednesday everyone!  Follow us @justwenderful on Twitter if you’re not already!  🙂

Limitless Ideas for Table Numbers!

If you are looking to add table numbers to your reception tables then you’re in perfect luck. There are plenty of ideas out there that will give you the inspiration you need on making a decision for your table numbers. Coming up with a unique idea will not only impress your guests but they will also look great on your tables.

The table number ideas below are unique, easy, and they will add a great touch to your reception tables. These are truly some amazing do-it-yourself ideas.

This idea is unique compared to all the other table numbers that are usually placed in the middle of the table. Stamping a table number on a rock gives it a clean and different look plus the best thing about it is that it is inexpensive.

“Us at Age” table numbers are an absolutely unique idea and it’s a great way for guests to have fun by seeing how much you and your companion have grown up over the years.

Lastly, I’m in love with this idea. The table number luminaries looks romantic, beautiful, and elegant. Don’t you just love this idea as much as I do?

LeslieAnn + Schuyler :: Hotel Maya Wedding

As promised here is a wedding we had back in March at the fabulous Hotel Maya!  I love that hotel!  It has so much personality on its own.

LeslieAnn contacted me from New York to plan their wedding in LA.  You would think the distance made it a bit more difficult, but it didn’t!  Not a single bit.

Meet LeslieAnn!

And Schuyler!

Now for the first look!  One of my favorite parts!

Ceremony time!  El Javi is an awesome guitarist!  He played during the ceremony and set the tone!

For favors, LeslieAnn loves to cook, so she gave her guests a cookie cutter with one their favorite cookie recipes.

We had guests sign postcards as the guestbook and after they returned from their honeymoon, I sent them all back to them in NY.  Sweet way to reminisce!

Congrats again to LA + Sky!  The awesome vendors involved were:

Venue: Hotel Maya
Photographer: Shannon Lee Images
Ceremony Music: El Javi

Dodger Wedding Save The Date

On July 4th, I had the pleasure of attending a very sweet friend of mine’s wedding at Dodger stadium.  Holly, is the photographer behind Cakes and Kisses, who wed Mr. Jeff on the terrace right before the game began.  Here was my persepctive:

She looked gorgeous!  Their wedding was truly unique and ever so personal!  For their save-the-date, they had Camron of New Classic Films, tell everyone about their story.

*grab some popcorn and be wooed!*

Amazing right? I think so. Thanks to Holly and Camron for letting me share!  Happy Friday!

Kyoto Grand Hotel :: Downtown Los Angeles

I have a couple teasers from a wedding back in March.  Milky and Brad were the sweetest couple with the some of the most daring dance moves I’ve seen a couple do on their wedding day!  The Kyoto was perfect for them and their intimate wedding.

Gorgeous!  They got married on the rooftop overlooking downtown Los Angeles.

Thanks to Jeff from The Pros and Milky for letting me share these.

Featured on Style Unveiled: Aqua + Yellow Inspiration

Last month, we worked on a styled shoot with two fabulous colors and yesterday it was featured on Style Unveiled!  Thought we would share it here too!

Pixie’s Petals made this awesome looking centerpiece by spray painting the willow and The Vintage Table Co. provided the tableware. Thanks to Kennedy Couture Linens for the linen too!  This next, first shot is my favorite!  It includes the most awesome, little cupcake by Kupcakespot!

The cute hair piece is by Marisol Aparicio and can be found at The Wedding Pantry.

How cute is our model, Laura!  Little White Book Stylists in the OC did her makeup and hair! Thanks again to everyone involved especially to the talent behind the camera, Smita Photography!

Barbie + Ken Wed!

Happy Monday everyone!  So I’ve seen this around the web and I just had to share!  Thanks to Rock n’ Roll Bride who I get to meet very soon, I stumbled across this fantabulous wedding that I wanted to ask for my barbies back now!  Sister: are you reading this?  Tell my niece I want them back.  🙂  I know I had a huge collection with a yellow duffel full of clothes!

Anywho, I loved everything about this:

I really wanted to post all of them, but why not go visit RnR Bride?  The ones I have here are just the beginning!

Figgie Wedding Shoes

Last week, we wrote about customized wedding shoes and how one of our close friends had gotten them for her recent nuptials.  She was nice to send us a couple shots of her shoes and I must say, I love her Figgie Shoes!  Holly got married at the Dodger Stadium and wore a Vera Wang for David’s Bridal dress.  So gorgeous!  Another gorgeous detail was her bouquet made by Judy of Enchanted Gardens.

A closer look at the heels!  Holly said she used a pair of shoes that she had bought at Nordstrom’s and worn in already so she could be comfortable on her big day.

Can you spot all the things Holly and Jeff love?  If you know her, you know she loves strawberries!  Thanks to Holly for letting me share and Adrienne of Adrienne Gunde Photography for the lovely shots!

Making your Wedding Day Sparkle!

via Tulle and Flora

Sparklers are a great addition to any wedding day they are beautiful, fun and memorable. Two of our recent weddings featured sparklers to accent important wedding moments. Sparklers are most often used during the couple’s first/last dance and their entrance/exit.

It is important in selecting your sparklers to consider the effect that you want. Wedding sparklers can range in size from 10 to 36 inches in length. The shorter the sparkler the shorter the burn time. A 10 inch sparkler has an approximate burn time of 45 seconds, whereas a 36 inch sparkler can lasts up to 5 minutes.

So make sure your sparklers add the sparkle that you want and email us if you’re looking for a trusty online vendor!
