Etsy – Bound!

I’ve been a bit busy crafting so I can open up an etsy shop! I want to do a lot more but I’m not sure what else I’m going to include/make. I’m starting with these tags, aren’t they pretty?

This idea started when I had a flip flop basket for my wedding, and I added some damask tags to each pair with “Jesse & Wendy” on the back. Besides this, you can use for gift tags, items you might sell…there are endlesss things you can do with these. I have more but I haven’t fixed em’ up yet. When I put them up on Etsy, you will be able to choose the ribbon color as well! =)

This weekend we also had my bro-in law’s birthday carne asada. Yuuuum! I made some fruit infused tequila and some table decorations. His wife said we should go with a Steeler theme, so black and yellow it was…

Doesn’t that look mouth-watering? It was! You can say I slept well that night, lol! For the little candy jars I got lucky because I found them in the 99 cent store. I bought lemonheads (yum!) and black licorice jelly beans (EW!) and wrapped the top of the jar with some black ribbon I had laying around and ta-da! I’ve had this creativity spunk ballin’ out! I need to get back to it, before I get stuck on this couch on this last week of vacay! Noooooooooooooooo!

Accessorize with Flowers!

Amy Michelson inspired post!

{Charmed Gown with Renee Pawele jeweled center feather flower}

I need to do my research on Renee Pawele. I love these flowers! I myself, was a flowerpiece bride. No veils for me!

Seeee, flower! I’m not sure where I purchased this piece but I know I got a good deal! I know a lot of brides purchase their flowerpieces embellished with beads, swarvoski crystals, and what-not, but what about fresh flowers?

I think fresh flowers are gorgeous!

Ooooh and how about this? I’ve posted this dress up before because it’s sexy as hell! The flowers add a nice romantic feel to it, dontcha think? You can even add one of these ruffly headbands-turned-into-sashes to a wedding dress by Heart of Light for that extra flowery, soft, romantic touch!

Alright, so now for reals! It’s almost 1 am! Have a lovely weekend everyone!

Just Thought…

I’d share! Remember last week I told ya’ll I went to the Wedding Salon?

Visit TheKnot.com!

The Knot
got a pic of me and a reason why I love them! I’m famous, I’m on their site! Lol! This is true. I loved checking that checklist in the Tasks section! It reminded me of what to-do’s I had, and what I had already done. If you’re planning on planning your own wedding, join! This site also gives you a plethora of ideas with images and what-not!

Another site I recommend is WeddingWire…why? The seating chart! I used it to seat my guests and they have a layout where you can do it all yourself! But why am I promoting all this, when I can do it for you? Because it truly did wonders for me!…and it will to you if you’re on a budget and can’t afford planner or a DOC!

Tomorrow I’m going to an industry event for The Knot and am pretty psyched! Too bad my business cards aren’t here yet! BOOOO!

On to business: Day 13th of my 365 Challenge: My little soldier!

How I love thee Adobe Lightroom! Thanks to Tasra for that!!! This little guy is Papito. He’s a lil’ chihuahua who loves me unconditionally! Isn’t he adorable? Yeah…yeah he IS!

The Knot’s Vendor Event

Updates coming soon!

Let’s just say I hate running out of business cards and ordering them so they’re not here on time!!!!

Grrrrr! Re-vamping our website is also not helping! Please bare with us! I just want it all to be perfect…think I got it from my mom! But isn’t that why I’m such a kick-ass wedding coordinator?!? I think so!

The event was also held at the aquarium in long beach! Picture challenge for day 14th?!? Caught baby!

I’ll update with all the fab vendors I met! Stay tuned!!!

Adding More Tags!

Because I’m done with the 525 that I made for Daintie Designs over on Etsy! So I finished them up today and packaged them in recycled paper of course!

Cute little packages huh? Well, I think so! Here’s what to look forward to on my Etsy tomorrow!

Cute little birds! I got inspired from the many birdie weddings out there, like Mrs. French Bulldog on WeddingBee!

Nautical pretties!

Who doesn’t love paisley?

Floral goodness?

This one’s not damask, but close to! I love all things damask! You should see my dining room!

Anywho, so as you can see I’ve been busy so I’ll get to my pictures of the day and TheKnot update tomorrow!

Sweet dreams ya’ll!

Day Mmmteenth!

Things I have to do and am looking forward to:

  • My site launch in a week!
  • Add more tags on Etsy!
  • Being part of the Broke-Ass-Bride’s Wedding-in-a-week Giveaway!
  • Welcoming my lovely Drea to my Just Wenderful team!
  • Purchasing and setting up our Candy Bar services for a shoot!
  • Set up my Trash the Dress Shoot with Anna!
  • I think I’m forgetting something…

The hubs is working tomorrow so I’m sure I can get a lot of this done, plus I have Monday off so I’m gonna have a productive ass weekend ya hear?

On other news, my shot of the day:

These were my favorite three from the event I went to on Wednesday. What do you think? I’m so behind! I started the 365 challenge the same Tasra did and I’ve fallen a week behind! Boo is me! I think I’m anticipating purchasing my Canon 7D that I can’t concentrate! Anywho, since I’ll be home working tomorrow, I promise I’ll update tomorrow.

Weddaversaries!

If I were to have a one year weddaversary party I would go with this kind of dress and a backyard picnic! Just think:

Via 100 Layer Cake

Via OffBeat Bride

Not so sure I could pull the below the knee dresses because I’m too tall, but these are way too cute! But I love these and they both have a different edge to them! See, I wish it’d be almost mandatory to do a one-time first year Weddaversary; where the bride can wear a pretty white dress again and host a party!!! It would definitely have to be something simple (and of course not as expensive) but with as much detailed beauty like a wedding! Am I crazy here?

Ooooh, I got my business cards today! And out of my to-do list, I all I did was post more Tags on Etsy, so please go look!

Looking Back

A quick Sunday post to let you in on some posts I wrote while I was planning my wedding! I used mywedding.com for my website and loved it! I ended up ordering the Wedding Paper Divas layout invites because I loved the pattern. It’s always fun to look back. Now I wish I would’ve blogged more back then!

Here ya go!
