SoCal Dream Wedding

Remember the SoCal Dream Wedding I blogged about here?  The day has finally come and gone!  It was held at the Rancho Las Palmas on June 27th.   Percy Sales had asked me to do a seating/ place card tags and all he said was “Be creative, I’ll leave it to you!”  I wasn’t sure until this idea popped in my head.

They named each table after a city and I hung tags with the guests’ names on each city/table.

Just a couple pictures of the gorgeous job the Dream Team did!

Here’s the lovely couple!

Congrats Megan & Peter!  Thanks to Gloria Punkett & Percy Sales for the pictures.

Vendor Love – Fantasy Frostings

As one of So Cal’s premiere wedding cake and dessert vendors, Leslie Maynor and her team at Fantasy Frostings are known throughout the wedding and special events industry for the quality, taste, and gorgeous appearance of all their products. Without a doubt, my personal favorite is their yummy cake pops…you NEED to try them if you haven’t had the pleasure!

Here’s a bit from their site:

“I would like to introduce you to our company, Fantasy Frostings. We have been a family owned and operated business since 1971, serving the west coast of California for the past 38 years. After 30+ years in our Whittier location we are delighted to announce that we have relocated our facility to South Pasadena and are so excited to be a part of this community.”

Beautiful, right? Delicious…definitely!

Happy Friday!

This couple looks so incredibly happy…it’s contagious! Check out more photos of this sweet couple on the Cakes and Kisses blog. Holly, you did it again! BTW…I’m hoping to see Holly in FRONT of the camera very soon…for her own engagement shoot maybe? Congratulations again Holly, we wish you all the happiness in the world!

Paloma’s Nest Winner!

We have a winner!

Congratulations to Erin!  This was her awesome comment!

“Wow this is a tough one! It is so hard to take the time and appreciate oneself – thank you for making me think about that! I would have to say that my biggest accomplishment yet this year is working on my work/life balance (I can’t say that I’ve perfected it yet but it has improved). Conscientiousness at the office is important but life is too short to spend 12 hours a day at the office.
xo”
This beautiful Paloma’s Nest is all yours!

Happy, happy weekend ya’ll!

Inspiration Board – LMB Launch Party

LMB Launch Party

This is the Inspiration Board for the Last Minute Bride Launch.  With it’s clean, white, gallery feel, we’re not going to mess so much with the James Gray Gallery, but we are going to add hints of color to it!  August 12th 6-9pm, Event Brite to come out this week!  You’re not going to want to miss it!

Happy Anniversary {to us}!

My first anniversary has come and gone!  Time flies!  I felt like posting some of my favorite pictures from that day.  Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!  In no particular order:

I love candid shots!  This is my hubs’ gramma.  She’s impatienly waiting for us to have a child.

The props for the photo booth were not only used inside as you can see.  I broke that knife later that night.

Meet my man of honor!  He made me cry from laughter!  Just look at his expression, lol!

Yes, we took part in the mustache trend and I love this picture!

Another candid…speaking about the passing of my mom wasn’t easy that day, but I knew she was there in spirit.

Our first look before the ceremony!  Totally recommend first looks!

To celebrate, we had dinner at the place we got married at.  Melinda from Cake Goodness was so sweet to make this mini anniversary cake!

This was our wedding cake for 80 guests:

This was our mini cake for 2 and yes, it was red velvet!

It was pretty perfect with all the details!  I couldn’t figure out the timer on my Canon 7d so I went for my point & shoot before the hubs decided he was done with the photo shoot, ha!  Here’s a quick shot!

Here’s to many, many more!  How do you plan to or already celebrate anniversaries?
