Happy Friday!

Last week we had a mix guest post on Hi-Fi Weddings and we wanted to share because it’s just a feel good, sip on some coffee (or champagne), then have a dance party kind of mix!

Dear husband,

I know you have my blog on your reader.  Think you can build this for me?

Mustard Yellow & Aqua Inspiration Board

Yellow is a great vibrant color that invokes feelings of joy and fun, which makes it a perfect wedding color. In this inspiration board we have focused on a deeper, almost mustard yellow, which brings an element of richness and elegance within the yellow palette. The deep yellow color works great in both indoors and outdoor venues. Further, it transitions beautifully from day to night.

What do you think??

12 Pre-planned Date Nights

I know this is a wedding blog, but it’s also a LOVE blog!  I am totally taking up this idea with my husband!

via Shannon Brown

You write 12 preplanned date nights for you and the mister.  Instead of me doing all the planning, I’m asking Mr. J to write 6.  They can either be free or prepaid and the fun part is to try and do something you’ve never done before.

Shannon also made a scrapbook which is an awesome idea!  I love scrap booking but never have the chance or time to.  Keeping up with this should be easy peasy!

I’ll blog about the progress on this little love project.  Join me!  I’m sure your love bug will enjoy this!

Happy Friday!

I’ve seen lots of dreamy dresses but a dreamy dress and a dreamy veil?  OK, so I’ve seen some awesome ones, but I’m pretty sure this combo is in my top ten!

The Perfect Addition: Wedding Centerpieces

Happy to share one of our intern’s first post!  Welcome Rocio!

Wedding centerpieces are always a great touch to a reception and it is something that your guests will love. They add extra energy to the room and become a wow-factor to your reception tables. As we all know, an arrangement of flowers seems to be the most common centerpiece. Flower centerpieces are beautiful but why not try something unique. Having some type of theme might give you the perfect inspiration for a centerpiece.

There are plenty of ideas for you to choose but no matter what you decide, your centerpieces will absolutely look stunning the day of your wedding.
When it comes to centerpieces, I personally love the ones that included flowers or candles. They look elegant and adorable.  There are also other centerpieces besides the usual flowers and candles that are truly stunning.

“Sew in Love” by This Modern Romance

In anticipation of our wedding with This Modern Romance next weekend, we saw this feature on one of our favorite sites, Green Wedding Shoes, and we had to share a couple spectacular shots!

So lovely!  This was a day-after session like no other!  Beside the wedding, we are DYING to see N + V’s engagement session!  Only sweetness for such a sweet couple!  The whole session is up HERE.  Go get a drool hankie!

Spiked Loubs!  I was definitely surprised when Jean showed me these.  I had never seen them before so my jaw, kind of dropped!

And now…the ceremony!

I have a great little series of pictures from this wedding that I’m saving for another day too!  So much eye candy!  Thanks to Image is Found for these lovely images!

Goodbye July!

Can’t believe it’s August!  Time is flying by and it especially goes by faster when you’re busy!  This past weekend we had a shoot and then a wedding we can’t wait to share!  Here are a couple of teasers!

So gorgeous!  A soft entrance on a golf cart:

Congrats to Nanar & Varouj!  They must be relaxing in Tahiti right about now!

PS.  As you can see I’m on Instagram and am little addicted!  Come find me for more behind-the-scene pictures!

Etsy Wedding Finds!

Today we only have two vendors we’ve loved on Etsy, but they’re pretty awesome!

First up is Ready Go Paper!  They have the cutest cake banners and at $10 each, they’re super affordable!

And for a couple bucks more, they can customize something for you!

Cutest thing ever right?  They have these too!

Now for our next vendor, it’s a bit risque but so romantic!

I won’t post more of these but check them out HERE!  L-O-V-E!
