Featured on Style Unveiled: Aqua + Yellow Inspiration

Last month, we worked on a styled shoot with two fabulous colors and yesterday it was featured on Style Unveiled!  Thought we would share it here too!

Pixie’s Petals made this awesome looking centerpiece by spray painting the willow and The Vintage Table Co. provided the tableware. Thanks to Kennedy Couture Linens for the linen too!  This next, first shot is my favorite!  It includes the most awesome, little cupcake by Kupcakespot!

The cute hair piece is by Marisol Aparicio and can be found at The Wedding Pantry.

Barbie + Ken Wed!

Happy Monday everyone!  So I’ve seen this around the web and I just had to share!  Thanks to Rock n’ Roll Bride who I get to meet very soon, I stumbled across this fantabulous wedding that I wanted to ask for my barbies back now!  Sister: are you reading this?  Tell my niece I want them back.  🙂  I know I had a huge collection with a yellow duffel full of clothes!

Figgie Wedding Shoes

Last week, we wrote about customized wedding shoes and how one of our close friends had gotten them for her recent nuptials.  She was nice to send us a couple shots of her shoes and I must say, I love her Figgie Shoes!  Holly got married at the Dodger Stadium and wore a Vera Wang for David’s Bridal dress.  So gorgeous!  Another gorgeous detail was her bouquet made by Judy of Enchanted Gardens.  

A closer look at the heels!  Holly said she used a pair of shoes that she had bought at Nordstrom’s and worn in already so she could be comfortable on her big day.

Venue :: The Langham, Pasadena

One of our favorites venues is right around the corner in SoCal in Pasadena.  The Langham is gorgeous both inside and out.  The last we were there was for the Tea with E event blogged about here. 

It’s absolutely gorgeous for an outside ceremony.

It’s fit for a king and queen!  They have other locations for your ceremony as well.  One is outside near their red bridge and you can always use one of the inside ballrooms too.

This Friday I wanted to share a picture of a cake that was made for a pretty little girl named Kaylee!  She’s family so we decided she had to have one of the best of course!

At first, I thought we might be going overboard for a 2 year old, but loved the final result!  I’m convinced every girl needs a cake like this right?  Thanks Fantasy Frostings!

The dahlia is such a beautiful flower.  It’s available mostly from June to November so if you’re wedding is within this time frame, you’re in luck!

Tuesday Shoesday

Happy Tuesday Shoesday!  We are dying over this find today!  It can be a bridesmaids gift or your very own wedding day shoes if you choose not to go with heels and if your wedding is more on the casual side. 

I was a flats bride myself because I’m probably the most clumsiest girl on heels you’ve ever seen!  My first pair is my favorite.  They also have them in high heels but Mr. Christian Louboutin needs to come up with more colors please!
